What we do

Drain & Sewer services we cover

$97 drain cleaning

Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and floor drains cleared with a proper cable machine, not a hardware-store snake.

Hydro-jetting

High-pressure water scours grease, scale, and roots from the pipe wall. The right fix for recurring main-line clogs.

Sewer camera inspection

We show you the inside of your line on a monitor and mark the exact depth and location of any break or belly.

Sewer line repair

Spot repairs and full replacements on cast iron, clay, and ABS mains, with clean trenching and permit handling.

Trenchless pipe lining

Cure-in-place lining rebuilds your sewer from the inside without digging up the yard or driveway.

Root removal & prevention

Root cutting, camera verification, and treatment plans for older San Diego neighborhoods with mature trees.

San Diego context

What we see across San Diego

The reason we camera every main-line call in San Diego is that half the older neighborhoods still have clay or cast-iron sewer laterals. In North Park, University Heights, Golden Hill, Kensington, and Normal Heights, mature ficus and jacaranda roots find every joint. Snaking gives you a week; hydro-jetting and root treatment give you a year or two.

Homes in Talmadge, Hillcrest, and Mission Hills often have original cast-iron drain stacks that have flaked down to the width of a garden hose. When we scope the line and see channeling on the bottom of the pipe, replacement or a CIPP liner is the honest recommendation, not another cabling.

In newer parts of the county like Del Sur, Otay Ranch, and Santaluz, the lateral itself is usually fine. The clogs are almost always fixture-branch issues: kitchen grease, wipes in the toilet, or hair in a shower P-trap.

From the old craftsman blocks near Balboa Park to the newer builds up in Rancho Peñasquitos and 4S Ranch, we clear and repair every kind of drain and sewer.

FAQ

Drain & Sewer questions we hear a lot

Is the $97 drain special legit?+

Yes. That's the price for a single accessible drain with a proper cleanout. If your setup needs extra work, we tell you the price before we start.

Do I need hydro-jetting or just a snake?+

Cabling clears the blockage. Hydro-jetting cleans the pipe wall. If your line has grease or roots, jetting keeps it clear longer.

How do I know if the sewer line is broken?+

A camera inspection is the only way to be sure. We show you the footage and mark the exact location before recommending repair.

Can you fix a sewer without digging up my yard?+

In most cases, yes. Trenchless pipe lining rebuilds the pipe from the inside through existing access points.

Why do so many North Park and Kensington homes have root problems?+

Those neighborhoods are full of 80- to 100-year-old clay laterals and full-grown ficus, magnolia, and pepper trees. Clay joints leak a little water, roots find them, and the roots grow into the pipe. It's not a hygiene problem; it's an infrastructure age problem.

Do you pull permits for sewer replacement in the City of San Diego?+

Yes. Every sewer replacement inside city limits is permitted with the City of San Diego and inspected before backfill. Same for La Mesa, Chula Vista, El Cajon, and the other incorporated cities in the county.

Can I run a garbage disposal into an old cast-iron drain?+

You can, but you're going to be calling us. Ground food waste plus corroded cast iron is a recipe for backups. In older homes, we usually recommend replacing at least the kitchen branch before adding a disposal.

How do I keep roots out after you clear them?+

Annual jetting plus a foaming root inhibitor is what actually works long term. In root-heavy neighborhoods, most homeowners get on a yearly schedule with us.
