Why does my toilet rock?+
Usually a broken flange, uneven floor, or wrong wax ring. We fix the underlying issue instead of shimming and moving on.
Do I need a plumber for a faucet?+
Not always, but old angle stops seized under a sink are the #1 reason a DIY faucet swap turns into a flooded kitchen.
How long does a toilet install take?+
Most straightforward swaps are 60 to 90 minutes. Add time if the flange or subfloor needs repair.
My shower cartridge is impossible to turn. Bad valve?+
In San Diego, almost always scale, not the valve. Our water is 15+ grains per gallon and it welds cartridges in place. A cartridge swap and cleaning usually solves it without replacing the whole valve body.
Can you install a bidet seat?+
Yes. Most bidet seats need a nearby GFCI outlet and a T-connector at the toilet supply. We can add the outlet too if it isn't there.
My HOA is requiring quarter-turn angle stops. Can you do that in a condo?+
Yes, we do this constantly in Mission Valley, Downtown, and Coronado high-rises. We coordinate the water shut-off with building management if the unit shut-offs are frozen.
