Two neighborhoods dominate our repipe calls: pre-1965 homes in Hillcrest, Mission Hills, Kensington, and North Park (galvanized) and mid-century tracts in Clairemont, Bay Park, Serra Mesa, and Allied Gardens (slab-leak copper). Coastal air in Point Loma, La Jolla, and Coronado adds corrosion on top. We repipe every era of San Diego home.
Common questions
Is epoxy lining safe for drinking water?+
Yes. We use NSF-61 certified epoxies rated for potable water on supply lines.
How long does it last?+
A properly installed liner is rated for 50 years and typically outlasts the surrounding pipe.
Why are Clairemont and Bay Park such a repipe hotspot?+
Those tracts were built in the 50s and 60s with copper supply lines cast into post-tension slabs. Six decades of hot water plus San Diego mineral content pinhole the pipe. Overhead reroute in PEX-A is the standard fix.
Will you handle drywall and patching?+
Yes. We cut clean access, patch drywall as part of the job, and can coordinate paint touch-ups if you want them done at the same time.
